Simcona Show Feedback: Fantastic!
October 4, 2007: Another year, another successful show! The 38th Annual Simcona Electronics Show received rave reviews from both customers and suppliers. Changes implemented this year such as a new location and improved parking, along with all new customer displays made this the best show in years.
New to the Simcona line card this year, and featured at our show were Indium, Honeywell SSEC and SSI Technologies. Longtime supplier Keystone was a first time exhibitor.

Lambda Introduces DPP120-140 Series
Sneak a peek at Lambda's newest addition to DIN rail mounted power supplies: DPP120-140 Series.
This series will fill the gap for many customers, as the DLP Series can be too wide for some applications. This power supply can be found in process control, as well as factory automation.
These power supplies feature auto-ranging input, parallel function switch and are convection cooled. They are available in 12V, 24V or 48V outputs.
The DPP series currently has product offerings in the 15W to 480W product range. The 120W will be available in November 2007; the 240W will be available December 2007.

Brady Introduces New Software for Labelmark Printer
Brady Corporation has released the new 3.2 version of it's Labelmark Labeling Software, written specifically for identification applications in Telecommunications, electrical and general industrial markets.
In this updated release of the software, Brady has added several improvements such as AutoCAD integgration and bi-directional communication with Brady's IP Series Printer to increase the ease-of-use with Brady's labeling systems. The Labelmark software's Data Estraction Add-Ins allow users to work within their data applications; AutoCAD, MS Excel or Visio and print labels fro them without the need to open Labelmark software.
Customers will save time by streaming multiple sets of data already organized within MS Excel and AutoCAD to Labelmark.
Using Brady's new Labelmark software, the Brady IP Series Printer automatically adjusts material parameters, print speed and heat settings to re3duce set-up time and allow users to print faster than ever before. Alpha Introduces FIT-Clear
Crystal Clear Heat Shrinkable Tubing
The latest and greatest in FIT Preferred Heat Shrink Product is FIT-Clear; a crystal clear heat shrinkable product that is also highly flame retardant. This unique product addresses applications where visual inspection and identification issues are critical, once a cable has been dressed.
FIT-Clear is manufactured using a modified polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) material that offers UL VW-1 flame retardance with a low shrink temperature of 105c. It has an effective operating temperature of -55c to +175c with an approximate shrink ratio of 2:1 at 150c. It also displays exceptional resistance to mechanical abrasion and cut-through as well as resistance tp chemicals including solvents.
Typical applications for FIT-Clear include automotive wiring, jackets and fuel covering applications; low and high temperature environments; caustic and chemical environments in addition to enabling visual inspection and identification.
